Robert O Hill
Chairman & Executive Producer

A sailing & yachting enthusiast, ROH, as he is known to most, is a third generation Southern Californian who dragged himself off the beach long enough to become a successful real estate and venture entrepreneur. His long list of real estate entities include Bear Brand Ranch Company, NNN Realty Fund, Golf Realty Fund, Retail Realty Fund and Residential Realty Fund, all of which have developed or acquired a portfolio of trophy commercial properties mostly in California. Along with the Yacht Channel, ROH’s other business ventures include O Hill Capital, Launch and Drugstore.com, yet for the long-time boat owner (his first was a Boston Whaler at the age of 15), and lover of all that is water-related, the Yacht Channel is the venture that originated from his lifelong passion and from his desire to show a worldwide audience the incredible yachting destinations around the globe.



Burton Roberts
CEO & Broadband Television Co-Host

A “Survivor: Pearl Islands” castaway and a “Camp Reality” producer and avid scuba diver, Burton earned degrees in both business and philosophy from SMU before earning his MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. Burton works closely with his team to carry out the vision and voice of the Yacht Channel across its multimedia properties.



Ken Berger
Board Member & Chief Technology Officer

Ken is the Founder and Owner of Adwire, a web development company that creates online experiences for entertainment clients, including Paramount Pictures and Warner Brothers. For the Yacht Channel, Ken’s company developed the Broadband Television Portal. In his free time, Ken enjoys relaxing and spending time with his wife and business partner, Wendy, and their two young children.



Dale Buxton
Chief Legal Council

Dale received his MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University, and a doctorate of jurisprudence from Northwestern University Law School. When not offering legal council to the Yacht Channel, Dale practices Intellectual Property Law with one of the largest law firms in the country, Morrison & Foerster.



CoCo Liu
Accountant

A graduate of the University of California at San Diego, CoCo studied Psychology and Economics before receiving her certificate in Accounting. With her upbeat personality, CoCo makes sure that not only are all Yacht Channel accounting matters in order, but also that company morale is always positive.



Deanna Conrad
Executive Media Director

Deanna’s addictive personality sparkles through her brown eyes, perhaps the reason for her long-lasting relationships with luxury companies. Deanna acquired nine plus years of marketing and advertising experience working with Fortune 500 companies before joining the Yacht Channel Team. While earning a degree in Business Communication from Arizona State University, Deanna studied at Richmond University, London and the University of Dublin, where she developed a love of travel. She has since visited 15 countries on 4 continents.



Gloria Okino
Segment Producer & Broadband Television Co-Host

Gloria attended the University of Iowa on a tennis scholarship before studying French at the University of Nice. In addition to fluently speaking French and English, Gloria is conversational in Romanian and Spanish. Her proficiency in varied cultures and languages, combined with her easygoing charm, makes for quite the interview.



Gene Strocco
Segment Producer & Editor

Gene Strocco is the Founder of GS3 Creative, a media content development and production company based in San Diego, California. Gene brings with him nearly a decade of media production experience from Sony Playstation, where he produced numerous CG cinematic movies and marketing videos for high profile titles. Self-taught and motivated, for the Yacht Channel Gene scripts, produces and edits segments filmed around the world. Gene lives in San Diego with his wife and two children.



Daniel Ursitti
Coordinating Producer

Before joining the Yacht Channel, Daniel worked his way through New York’s top theatrical institutions, as well as in both the music and entertainment business. His experience from on and off the stage gives him a multi-faceted perspective that enables him to contribute to many aspects of production. From supervising and coordinating the logistics of filming, to analyzing the technical strategy and establishing the technical direction, Daniel remains busy yet still finds time to unexpectedly break out in song.



Abigail Hancock
Associate Producer & Editor

Prior to earning her BA in Film and Media Studies from the University of California, Irvine, Abigail spent two solitary months exploring the rich history and basking in the beauty of Europe. Before joining the Yacht Channel team, Abigail communicated her talents, supervising scripts for shorts and interning at Warner Brothers. For the Yacht Channel, Abigail’s primary function is in making sure all loose ends are tied. Her detail-oriented personality also lends itself well to her current hobby of choice: calligraphy.



Jennifer O Hill
Fashion Segment Multimedia Editor

Before her post-graduate studies at the University of Paris-Sorbonne, Jennifer earned a BS in Communications and Minor in Media Journalism at the University of San Diego. Fluent in both English and French, she has associate produced numerous feature films. Jennifer’s fashion line graces boutiques from California to New York. Also a stylist, Jennifer has consulted for numerous photo shoots with her work appearing in Vogue and Vanity Fair. In utilizing varied artistic mediums, Jennifer takes an extraordinary approach of fusing her writing skills, behind the scenes knowledge of fashion, and understanding of visual images that brings YC viewers back for more.



Camila Leal
Styling & Wardrobe

With a degree in Fashion Merchandising, Camila’s eye for all things stylish and beautiful takes on a worldly perspective when combined with the fact that she was born and raised in Brazil. For the Yacht Channel, she takes her unique frame of reference and applies it to productions around the world, making sure that hosts Gloria Okino and Burton Roberts are always looking fashionable and yacht-worthy.



Kaitlyn Thornton
Writer

White attending the University of Southern California Kaitlyn honed her writing abilities as the Editor of the Daily Trojan, USC’s student newspaper. After graduating with a degree in Journalism she joined the Yacht Channel Team where she currently puts her writing skills to use on everything from SeaScape articles to press releases.



Lyric Rousseau
Writer

Descended from a vineyard in Bordeaux, France, Lyric spent her youth relaxing amongst the grapes and writing in her journal.  Currently living in London, Lyric developed her childhood talent while studying journalism and languages at Oxford with the career goal to one day combine her love of both travel and writing.  In her free time Lyric enjoys climbing and has traveled from Tibet to Tanzania in search of the perfect mountain.


Sophia Dominica Vega
Writer

Born in Athens, Sophia moved to Florence with her Italian parents when she was two.  Never one to shy away from a major life change, she again uprooted herself with a move to New York City after being accepted to New York University.  With a major in English and a minor in creative writing, Sophia is living her dream in the big city.  When not traveling with the Yacht Channel, Sophia can be found working on her first novel. 


Jonas Bluth
Scriptwriter

A 2004 graduate of the Los Angeles Film School with a concentration in producing and writing, Jonas aspires to be a "writer extraordinaire." The award-winning scriptwriter is definitely on his way. For the Yacht Channel, Jonas communicates his talents by writing scripts for the Yacht Channel 'Destinations' television series, and by contributing to host dialogue and voiceover for the 'Cruise Wear,' 'Events,' and 'Profiles' segments.



Monica Fajardo
Assistant to Robert O Hill

Monica received her BS in Business Administration from California State University at Long Beach, and has since held positions in home financing and insurance, in addition to assisting executives. In her free time she can be found letting her hair down and relaxing from her organized and structured work-week by taking Tahitian dancing lessons.



Thierry Ameller
Producer & Cameraman – France & Monaco

Thierry began his production career in front of the camera as both a commercial actor and model. However, his eye for the perfect shot, and endless yachting contacts from a lifetime lived in the South of France, led him to change his career from in front of the camera to behind it. Since transitioning, he has taken award-winning photographs for various clients within the yachting industry. For the Yacht Channel, Thierry uses his plentiful contacts and hardworking nature to produce and film segments in France and Monaco. He currently lives in Nice with his Venezuelan wife and their children.
